A person’s or a business’s debts are referred to as bills payable. Bills payable can be confused with accounts payable, which are often invoices from suppliers that are received and recorded by a firm in the current liabilities area of the balance sheet.
A monthly telephone bill, a monthly bill for power consumed a bill for completed repairs, a bill for products purchased on credit from a shop are all examples of bill payables.
